WHAT IS SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP
Semi-permanent makeup is a tattooing technique that gives a long-lasting makeup by coloring safe plant pigments(not containing metal) in the shallow layer of skin (0.01 to 0.03 mm below the surface). It does not come off with sweat, water, or even face washing. The result is very natural and can last approximately 2 years. Semi-permanent makeup fades along with skin’s metabolism, so we can change the shape and color as you want after it faded.
We do Semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows, eyelines and lip color.
All procedures require two visits(3 for those with poor color retention) to complete the look. Healing from the initial procedure can sometimes cause loss of pigment, making the 2nd visit so important to finish the new brows and correct any imperfections.
Please make 1 appointment each for both visits when booking for semi-permanent makeup.
Skin type, age, metabolism and life style can affect persistence and color development of the procedure.

What are the benefit of semi-permanent makeup?
There are a variety of benefits associated with semi-permanent makeup. Semi-permanent makeup will allow more time in the morning for what you really want to do – no more drawing in your brows, trying to make them even and natural.
You can enjoy swimming, holidaying in hot climates, going to the gym – no more worrying about the brows smudging or being wiped off, panicking because you’re having a hot flush and wiping your face to see a brown smudge on your hand.
Additionally, eyebrows are a nightmare to pencil in if you’re a spectacle wearer. Semi-permanent makeup is a godsend for those that have sensitivities to everyday makeup and products, those with poor eyesight, those that have lost their brow hair through chemotherapy, stress, lifestyle, alopecia and other auto immune conditions.
How long does semi-permanent makeup last?
The results will last from 1-4 years, but it will fade over time. Dry skin retains pigment better than oily skin. There are lots of other factors to take into account – lifestyle, stress, skin conditions, medical conditions, if you’re a smoker and/or a sun worshipper all have an effect on your skin and therefore will dictate how long your enhancement lasts.
Skin is unique to each person. the same pigment colour can be implanted into three people and each one will heal and retain pigment differently. It is advisable to have a Colour Boost when you start to notice you’re filling the brows in, adding to your liner, or wearing lip stick again, or when you notice the colour is approximately 50% faded. For the best long-term effect don’t leave it until all the colour is gone.
LIP BLUSH
Lip Blush treatment gives you a color that flatters your skin, and you don’t have to constantly reapply lipstick or gloss.
As well, the Lip Blush technique can correct the shape of your lips to make them seem more balanced and symmetrical.

The lip line and cupids bow lose definition as we age, and the lips become less vibrant and colorful. Sometimes we are simply born with a lack of pigment or asymmetry in the lips area.
The Lips Tattoo also benefits people who suffer from cleft lips by creating a cupid’s bow and adding a pigment to the vermilion border.
PLEASE NOT
Cool or Dark-toned lips may require a Lips Color Correction / Lips Neutralization treatment before their Lip Blushing treatment due to the natural undertones occurring in the skin pigmentation and the way that this affects the ultimate color.
DURING PROCEDURE
A full consultation is always conducted before the Lip Blush procedure begins.
The first step is to discuss exactly what you want to achieve including shape and color and giving you advice regarding what may suit you.
The next step is to pre-draw the lips, carefully measuring them, and ensuring they are as close to perfect as possible. Before tattooing begins, we make sure you are 100% satisfied with the predrawing.
Lip blushing can last up to three years, although your lifestyle contributes to how well it maintains; smoking and sun exposure can speed up the fading process, and if you’re oil-prone, have an iron deficiency, or use a lot of exfoliating products in your skin regimen, the pigment could fade more quickly.
You can have a color enhancement procedure every 6-12 months.

If the top of the plug is dark, it is called a blackhead.
- 1.Don’t take aspirin, alcohol, caffeine or any blood thinners one day before the procedure!
- Lip fillers should be done 1 month before/after the procedure
- Scrub your lips for couple days before the procedure and keep them moisture (Aquaphor)
- Have you ever had a cold sore? Ask your physician to prescribe Valtrex (Valaciclovir) 3days before and days after the procedure. This procedure can trigger an outbreak that will affect the result

- 3 Avoid hot drinks and food. Drink everything through a straw until your lips completely heal

- 5.No soaps, cleansers, acids or chemicals on your lips
- Don’t stretch your lips

Lips Neutralization / Dark Lip Color Correction
Lip Neutralization is a permanent makeup technique designed for those with cool or dark-toned lips in which we correct and neutralize the unevenness in color of the lips.Lip Neutralization process takes time and patience.
People are born with different amounts of melanin in their skin. However, not everyone is happy with the natural shade of their lips.
There are several possible causes of darker lips or discoloration, including melanin rich skin, hyperpigmentation, injuries and skin disorders. Also person from any ethnicity who has vascular lips typically has a higher percentage of melanin on their lips as well.
Let’s talk about Smoker Lips. Nicotine stimulates the production of more melanin in your Lips which can cause pigmented and dark lips.
Lip Neutralization is great option to correct that discoloration from smoking.
The number of Lips Neutralization / Dark Lip Color Correction sessions to achieve desired results is individual for everyone and can be anywhere between two and five.
Once we Neutralized unwanted colors we can do any different lip color with Lip Blush.
If you are looking to achieve only a lighter natural lip tone, Lips Neutralization procedure is the perfect and sufficient procedure.

At this stage we draw on your tailored shape and jointly select the right colour for you and only at the point in which you are 100% happy do we proceed with your treatment.
Whether you have sparse brow hair and are simply looking to thicken your current shape or want a more defined, contoured look we are here to ensure you receive your dream brows.
The procedures always done with a sterile needle that implants safe pigments to the top layer of the skin.
We choose a color that will blend with your existing brow hair, skin tone and also works with your hair color to make it look as natural as possible. During our consultation, we will determine whether this is the style and color that you like and want to wear every day.
Semi-Permanent Makeup for eyebrows has 3 main techniques:

- No swimming pools, Jacuzzis or other bodies of water for 15 days
- Do not soak your face underwater in a bathtub or allow the shower to spray directly in your face for 15 days

- Face peels, even mild ones, may cause permanent makeup to lighten
- No exercising for 24 hours
EYELINER
The eyes are the most striking feature of your face and semi-permanent eyeliner gives natural definition to your eyes to make them really stand out. Like other semi-permanent treatments, our eyeliner can work in a number of different ways depending on the results you are looking to achieve.
For a more natural look, it can create the illusion of larger eyes, thicker lashes and even create the look of base lashes if they are sparse or missing. This is achieved through small dots of pigment applied through the lash line giving the appearance of a thicker eyelash base.
We can also achieve your ideal everyday eyeliner shape as light or bold as you prefer, eliminating tedious re-application throughout the day and creating perfect smudge free eyes. This can be applied to your top or bottom lid or a combination of both to create a fully defined look at all times. At the point of consultation, we design and discuss all options to create your tailored look including choosing the correct colour to suit your age and style.
